Current Dubai Courts guidance is that online POA attestation requires the parties to hold valid Emirates IDs; someone holding only a passport must attend in person before the notary, and a principal outside the UAE may instead need an in-person or foreign-notarisation and attestation route. We confirm the applicable route for your case before drafting.

Our target is preparation and coordinated notarisation by the next business day, once payment, complete documents, identity checks and draft approval are in place. It is a target, not a guarantee — the signing route, recipient requirements, supporting documents and private-notary or Dubai Courts capacity can extend it.

It is an instrument recording authority granted by a principal to a named agent for stated acts. The agent's authority comes from the powers and limits written into the POA. The relevant notary and each organisation asked to rely on it apply their own current requirements.

A General POA gives general management and preservation authority within its written terms. A Special POA expressly identifies an act, transaction or category of acts outside ordinary management. "Special" does not have to mean one isolated task; it may include connected steps serving one stated outcome.

POAS professional fees range from AED 1,899 to AED 2,199 + VAT across the ten published routes. Notary, government, certified translation, attestation, legalisation, courier and recipient charges are separate unless expressly included.

Often there is a workable route, but it must be confirmed for the instrument, country, identity method and intended use. Some files can use an electronic or remote channel; others require overseas notarisation and legalisation or personal attendance.

Arabic or bilingual wording is commonly required for a POA used with UAE notarial, court or government channels. The correct format depends on where the document will be executed and used. Certified translation of supporting documents is a separate service when required.

Most files need identity records for the principal and agent, evidence of the principal's authority over the subject, and accurate transaction or recipient details. Corporate, property, banking and inheritance routes require additional records specific to that purpose.

A principal can generally revoke a revocable POA while retaining the necessary capacity and authority, but executing a revocation is only part of the risk-control process. The agent and organisations that may rely on the old POA should be notified through appropriate channels.

No. The notarial act and the receiving organisation's acceptance decision are different. A recipient may apply its own form, wording, age, KYC, authority, original-document or recency requirements.
