A Vehicle Power of Attorney can authorise a named agent to carry out selected ownership and registration steps for an identified vehicle or clearly defined transaction. We build the wording around what the agent must do and exclude powers you have not approved.

What the tailored scope can cover

Subject to your instructions and the requirements of the organisations involved, selected powers can include:

• buying or selling an identified vehicle
• signing ownership-transfer or registration forms
• registering, renewing or cancelling a vehicle registration
• submitting and collecting vehicle records, plates or agreed documents
• completing inspection, insurance or administrative steps where the relevant organisation permits an agent
• receiving sale funds only where that power is expressly requested, approved by the principal and accepted by the relevant paying organisation

The exact vehicle, transaction and financial powers should be stated wherever the information is available. Sensitive funds-related authority is not inserted automatically.

What this service does not cover

This service does not include:

• vehicle finance, loan settlement or lender release
• insurance brokerage or a guarantee that an insurer will accept agent instructions
• resolution of fines, impoundment, ownership disputes or legal proceedings
• vehicle import, export or customs representation
• commercial fleet management as a separate service
• a buyer, seller or POAS.ae-provided agent
• a matter outside the ten published POAS.ae services

POAS.ae prepares the authority document and coordinates its supported execution route. It does not itself complete the vehicle transaction.

Who this service is for

This service is for a vehicle owner or buyer who wants a trusted agent to complete a defined buying, selling, transfer or registration task because the principal is unavailable or prefers authorised representation.

What POAS.ae coordinates

POAS.ae is operated by Cendale Documents Clearing Services FZCO. POAS.ae prepares Power of Attorney documents and coordinates notarisation through independent private notaries licensed by Dubai Courts. For this service, we prepare the document around the agreed vehicle action, provide the document checklist and manage drafting corrections.

POAS.ae is not RTA, a court, government authority, law firm, lender, insurer or notary. The independent private notary performs the notarial act and makes the execution decision. RTA, lenders, insurers and other organisations involved apply their own identity, authority, transaction and acceptance requirements.

Remote processing is available only where the notary accepts it; some cases require in-person or additional verification. Original documents or further identity and authority evidence may also be required.

Information and documents usually required

Upload identity and case documents only through the case upload link supplied for the order. Do not send passport or Emirates ID images, card details, PINs, passwords or one-time codes in ordinary email, WhatsApp or telephone messages.

• the principal’s passport and Emirates ID, if applicable
• the agent’s passport or Emirates ID
• the vehicle registration card or other available vehicle record
• the make, model, year, plate number and chassis or VIN where available
• the exact intended action: buy, sell, transfer, register, renew or cancel registration
• buyer or seller details, where known and relevant
• finance, restriction, inspection or insurance status where it affects the task
• the intended receiving organisation
• any form, checklist or wording instruction supplied by that organisation

The private notary, RTA or another organisation involved in the transaction may request additional records, originals, attendance or identity checks.

How it works

1. Open your file and pay online. Pay AED 1,899 + VAT. Documents can follow payment through the case upload link supplied for the order.
2. Upload the vehicle details. Provide the principal’s and agent’s identities, the vehicle record, the intended action and the receiving organisation through that case upload link.
3. Confirm the precise powers and route. We define what the agent may sign, submit, collect or receive, exclude unsupported tasks and check the execution route before drafting.
4. Approve the tailored draft. Check every vehicle identifier, transaction detail, agent power, limit and funds-related authority.
5. Complete the required execution. We coordinate the applicable route. Current Dubai Courts guidance states that online POA attestation requires the concerned parties to hold valid Emirates IDs and that a person holding only a passport and no Emirates ID must appear in person before the notary. The applicable official or notarial channel sets any further identity, attendance and verification requirements.
6. Receive the completed POA. We send the available digital document and practical next-step instructions for your named agent.

If the correct supported service or route costs less, POAS.ae refunds the difference. If it costs more, we obtain your approval before collecting the balance or drafting.

Timing

Our target is preparation and coordinated notarisation by the next business day once payment, complete documents, identity checks and draft approval are in place. It can take longer if information is incomplete or private-notary or Dubai Courts capacity is constrained. Missing vehicle details or additional receiving-organisation requirements can also extend the timeline. This is a target, not a guarantee.

The POA Fit Promise

Before drafting, POAS.ae reviews the requested powers, vehicle information, receiving organisations, authority evidence, identity documents and signing route. If the selected route is not workable and you do not accept an available alternative, the POAS professional fee is refunded under the Refund Policy.

If a POA prepared by POAS.ae cannot be used for the vehicle purpose agreed with you because we selected the wrong supported POA type or made a drafting or scope error, we will correct the document without another POAS professional fee. If we cannot correct it for that agreed purpose, we will refund the POAS professional fee.

The promise does not cover changed transaction instructions; inaccurate, incomplete or late vehicle information; a change in law or receiving-organisation policy after approval; an action outside the agreed scope; an independent decision made for reasons unrelated to POAS.ae’s drafting; failure to complete the wider transaction or required execution process; or any third-party charge.
